42 year-old guitarist and songwriter with decent vocals and excellent backing vocals. Many influences, from Abba, right through to ZZ-Top. I love a good melody and lyrics and prefer good catchy tunes to technical ability. I believe in keeping it simple. I love Rock, Pop, 70's, 80's, Indie, Disco, Funk, in fact many styles and I'm adaptable at playing most.

I like working with like-minded musicians who want to enjoy themselves, have a good sense of humour and feet on the ground. I do have family and work commitments so can't be in a rehearsal studio every night of the week, but I'm a quick learner.

I do have my own gear and transport; I have four electrics in use (Fender Strat, Tele, Ibanez Artcore AF75 and Patrick Eggle Berlin), Marshall ValveState amp, Line6 POD and Boss effects, 6 and 12-string electro-acoustic guitars, mandolin and ukelele. I also have an older synth (Yamaha SY85) plus controller keyboard and virtual synths, plus own microphones. I can also handle reasonable lead and plenty of backing vocals.

I am currenly unavailable at the moment as I am in a great covers band, but my profile will be updated if things change. The band are currently looking for a like-minded keyboard player and/or lead guitarist plus lead vocalist.
