Hi all, I'm a 32 year old drummer, have own kit and transport, ideally I'd like to meet other musicians in the Poole/Bournemouth (Dorset) area to jam with and perhaps play some gigs, if anybody's interested and looking for a drummer. I play mainly rock and indie but will try my hand at anything,
I started playing at 21 but with drums not being the most sociable instrument in the world I didn't really get the chance to take it up seriously, I then had a 2 and a half year period of playing all the time and got involved with a couple of bands. I've tried keeping my hand in over the last few years but have not had as much chance to play as I would of liked due to work commitments.
However, I am now in a position to get amongst it again! I have some gigging experience and spend stupid hours practising. But.... I need to be playing with other musicians to better myself.
I have an acoustic (DW Collectors) and electric (Roland TD12) kits so am quite well equipped for any situation (although I have none of the outboard gear for the roland but should I need to I would invest), also have my own transport. Have all of this gear sat around begging to be used properly, it's no fun playing with yourself all the time!!
